The Problem
Until now, aeroponic gardens have worked by spraying roots with nutrient solution through micro-sized spray heads originally designed for landscaping use. These "sprayers" are fed by low pressure pumps (< 10 PSI) to keep cost, noise, and power consumption to a minimum. This older technology created a "spray" with an average droplet size of no less than 400 microns in diameter. Even when an expensive, noisy, power hungry high pressure pump, the droplet size will rarely fall below 80 microns. In addition, the higher water pressure required can easily damage sensitive root tissue. Since the entire concept of aeroponics revolves around providing roots with access to Oxygen to increase metabolism. This benefit has not been truly realized because spraying roots with such large droplets effectively drenches them in solution which inhibits access to available Oxygen. In order for roots to benefit from available Oxygen, the solution droplet size must be significantly reduced to that which will no longer impair such access.

The Solution
The Nutramist system utilizes a solid-state, ultrasonic device to create a "dry fog" with a droplet size of less than 5 microns! Compared to older technology, it's like comparing a BB to a basketball! At this size, nutrient enriched mist readily penetrate roots without choking them in solution. The result is extraordinary. Roots can now develop tiny hairs which exponentially increased their surface area and ability to uptake water and nutrients.

1. Fresh nutrient solution is stored in a reservoir whose size and supply is your choice. This reservoir feeds the actual Nutramist Generator.
2. The solution is immediately nebulized by the Nutramist fogger and turned into fog.
3. Oxygen is sucked in through the fan, pushing the fog out to
4. the vapor distribution hose and up into the Nutramist Garden.
5. Rooted plants and clones readily consume the nutrient enriched fog during normal growth.
6. At your choice, excess condensate may be drained off or recycled into the Nutramist generator with the addition of some extra fittings and length of tubing.

The Nutramist generator has six different speed settings so you can best match the flow and penetration of fog to your plants requirements at any given time.The amount of condensate will vary depending on your crops consumption habits and may be reduce or increased by using the six speed controller and/or an adjustable short cycle timer (10-1000 seconds on, 10-1000 seconds off).

Besides providing the finest solution droplet size, Nutramist systems constantly inject the root zone with fresh, Oxygen rich air. When combined with their non-recirculating nutrient delivery system, the Nutramist gardens always feed your plants with fresh solutio. This also eliminates the need for constant pH and solution concentration adjustment. In addition, their solid state ultrasonic delivery mechanism sterilizes incoming nutrient solution which helps prevent root rot and transmission of pathogens between crops grown in the same system. The result is healthier roots that can provide significantly increased Oxygen, water and nutrient uptake to the plans above which equates to faster growth of flowers, fruit and vegetables.

Available with either (16) 3" plant sites for production environments or (100) 2" plant sites for use in propagation. The optimum configuration is two trays per Nutramist model 3 ultrasonic fogger which provides either 32 plant sites for production or 200 plant sites for propagation. For smaller gardens where you wish to employ just one tray, we highly recommend using our fully-adjustable, short cycle timer to reduce fog output when plants are small and not consuming as much fog as the Nutramist system is able to produce, even on its lowest setting.
